NOTICE - PUBLIC MEETING

Please be advised that the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Dubreuilville will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 6:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Complex (virtual format – to be determined) in order to consider an application for Temporary Use By-law, under Section 39 of the Planning Act.

The subject properties in question are located at the South end of town at the end of St-Joseph Street and within the area bounded by Pins Street, Rosiers Street and St-Joseph Street. The properties are described as roll numbers 5779 000 000 16040 0000, 09705, 27200, 27202, 27204, 27206, 27224, 27222, 27220, 28011, 27999 and 28013.

The application requests permission to permit the temporary installation of dormitory facilities on the subject properties for a period of three (3) years. The effect of the application would be to permit the dormitory facility use until March 31, 2024, to provide temporary worker accommodations for Argonaut’s Open Pit Mine at the Magino Site.

Additional information regarding this application is available upon request at the municipal office (23 Pins Street, Dubreuilville, Ontario). If you wish to be notified of the decision of the Township of Dubreuilville on the proposed temporary use by-law, you must make a written request to the CAO-Clerk.

If a person or public body would otherwise have an ability to appeal the decision of the Township of Dubreuilville to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal, but the person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to the Township of Dubreuilville before the by-law is passed, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision.

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting, or make written submissions to the Township of Dubreuilville before the by-law is passed, the person or public body may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the Local Planning Appeals Tribunal (LPAT) unless, in the opinion of the Tribunal, there are reasonable grounds to do so.

Dated at the Township of Dubreuilville, this 11th day of February, 2021.
