Message from the Mayor

On behalf of all residents and members of Town Council I would like to welcome everyone to our community and hope that your experience in our beautiful community is as fulfilling as ours. In fall 2018, I was acclaimed as Mayor after serving two full terms on town council.

In 1982, I came to Dubreuilville to help run a family business and fell in love with the town. Together with my family, I successfully operated Keith Spencer Trucking for many years and in 1993 was awarded the Northern Ontario Business Award for Entrepreneur of the Year. Dubreuilville has a history of supporting entrepreneurs as the town itself was developed by four entrepreneurial brothers working in forestry with deep Francophone roots, which we strive to keep alive.

We are in the heart of the Magpie Forest that has renowned fishing, hunting, snow machining and a very active ATV Club; the beauty is above anything which will appeal to all that love nature.

Our small Francophone community offers the comforts of home and the security of raising your children here. I personally raised my children here and have had the joy of seeing my grandchildren being raised here as well.

Our community is supported by gold mines and the forestry sector. We welcome you to come experience what we have with the security of solid careers and a quality of life that is comparable to no other place.

Experience the Freedom!

Beverly Nantel
Mayor of Dubreuilville

Recycling of Cans

Did you know that if recycled, aluminum cans are back on the shelf within 60 days on average? However, it has been proven that if not recycled, aluminum cans will sit in a landfill for 500 years before oxidization. Imagine if that can had been recycled how many times it could have been used over and over, as well as the amount of virgin resources that could have been saved.
