****NOTICE****

HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF A MOTOCROSS, SNOWMOBILE AND/OR ATV WERE TRESPASSING IN YOUR YARD OR ON YOUR PRIVATE PROPERTY?
YOUR ANSWER IS PROBABLY: NOT VERY HAPPY!

Therefore, we are asking drivers of these types of recreational vehicles to please respect what’s not yours and to please abstain from driving on private properties, such as the church, Township's municipal properties and green spaces, businesses, etc.

***Did you know that a motocross is not legally permitted on municipal or provincial streets and are not licensed? Please be more respectful of speed and noise within the community for the safety of our children and citizens. There is ample forest around town to go play; therefore, there is no reason to ride on our streets and within town illegally, disturbing residents & worrying parents for the wellbeing of their children.***

Also, please be mindful of the 50 km/hr maximum speed limit within town limits for vehicles and slower maximum speed for other types of recreational vehicles in designated areas, such as close to schools & parks. All vehicles need to slow down & respect the rules of the road. Our children, play, walk and bike, while vehicles of any type drive by way too fast. Speed kills; therefore, we ask you to slow down and pay attention, the death of a child because of speed is not worth it and would be devastating to our community.
