Seasonal Activities - Highlights
- January – April offers the best trail riding conditions for avid snowmobile riders comparable to anywhere else in Canada or the northern United States. Dubreuilville expects an average snowfall of 12 feet or 3.7 metres in any given year and our Mooseback Trail System spans hundreds of kilometres through professionally groomed, Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs (OFSC) trails connecting with many other Northern communities. - January – March is also the ideal time for ice-fishing in the areas many lakes and hitting the trails for snowshoeing or cross-country skiing. Locals love to drop a line on the Magpie River, Lake Wabatongushi or Twin Lakes. Knowledgeable guides are available for hire for those interested in finding the perfect spot and ensuring that your experience is truly memorable. Snowshoes and cross-country skis are available to rent at the Resource Centre.
- June – August – A handful of township sponsored and organized events are run throughout the summer to ensure that residents are both living a healthy lifestyle and enjoying living in Dubreuilville.
- May – October provides limitless fishing and hunting opportunities. Regardless if small or large game is your interest, sport fishing for prize walleye, trout or trophy sized pike; the Dubreuilville area can provide limitless options.
