St. Cécile Cemetery
The Corporation of the Township of Dubreuilville owns and maintains one active cemetery. Columbaria are available. The Ste. Cécile Cemetery is named in honor of Cécile Dubreuil, the matriarch of the Dubreuil family, and is situated on Goudreau Road. Burials
All burials must be arranged by the Municipality. Burials may only be conducted by municipally authorized persons.
Burials generally take place between May 1st and November 15th (weather permitting).
Please contact our Municipal Team to determine what documents are required in order to arrange a burial.

How do I purchase a lot or niche?
Lots and niches may be purchased from the Municipality. An at-need burial lot or niche may be purchased in cash or on an installment payment plan (as outlined in our by-law). A pre-need lot may be purchased through the signing of a contract and payment.

May I place decorations on our columbarium or lot?
Please note that decorations, including flowers, wreaths, and ornaments, are not allowed on or near the columbarium or niche areas. Any requests for embellishments to the niche doors must be submitted in writing for approval from the CAO-Clerk.
For lots and graves, decorations such as flowers and artificial flowers are permitted provided that all associated fees and charges have been settled. However, the use of granular decorative stones, candles, benches, glass containers, and other materials that are perishable or potentially damaging is prohibited. Additionally, any planting of shrubs or flowers requires prior written approval from the CAO-Clerk.
The Municipality reserves the authority to remove any items that do not adhere to these regulations and will, at its discretion, remove dead flowers, faded, damaged, or unsightly decorations.
Are pets permitted in the cemetery?
Pets are not permitted in the cemetery. Animals that arrive in vehicles must remain inside the vehicle.
Is food or drink allowed in the cemetery?
Food and beverages are not allowed in the cemetery unless they are directly associated with a funeral service. Additionally, the consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited on cemetery property.
Can I perform repairs or modifications to a monument?
Only authorized and licensed monument dealers approved by the township are permitted to conduct any repairs or alterations to monuments within the cemetery.

Can ashes be buried on an existing grave?
