Dubreuilville Recycling Program

Aluminum (Food and Beverage Cans) Recycling Program

The Corporation of the Township of Dubreuilville is proud to support an aluminum can recycling initiative led by a local contractor. Each week, we encourage residents to place clean aluminum cans, including beverage cans, curbside, separated from regular waste. Collected cans are transported to a designated recycling facility for proper processing, distinct from municipal waste.

This vital program aims to divert waste from the municipal landfill while supporting a local entrepreneur. The Corporation of the Township of Dubreuilville appreciates your participation in the Dubreuilville Recycling Program and thanks you for your contribution to this important initiative.

Here is a summary of the regulations regarding the collection of beverage and food cans:

Preparation of Cans:

Please rinse all cans and remove any labels prior to placing them in the designated collection container.

Collection Day:

On collection day, starting at 8 a.m., please place opened plastic containers (without lids) that are clearly marked for recycling in front of your property adjacent to the highway. Ensure that the containers are positioned as close as possible to the edge of the paved or improved road surface without obstructing traffic, sidewalks, footpaths, or snow removal efforts.

Aluminum food and beverage cans will be collected every Wednesday during the daytime
